Who's behind Vetmoneyhq

Hands typing on a laptop at a desk with coffee

Vetmoneyhq is run by a disabled veteran who got tired of watching other vets leave money on the table because nobody explained the system in plain English.

After years of decoding VA tables, rating decisions, and benefit programs for myself, I started breaking it all down the way I wish someone had explained it to me on day one: short, specific, and in normal language. No jargon, no 40-page PDFs, no sales pitch.

The mission is simple: every veteran should know what they've earned — the pay tables, the lesser-known benefits, and the mistakes that cost real money. Whether you served four years or twenty-four, combat arms or support, man or woman — if you earned it, you should know about it.

Built for every veteran

Women are the fastest-growing group in the veteran population — and too often the most overlooked when it comes to benefits information. Vetmoneyhq covers the topics that matter to women veterans too, from women's health care through VA to the claims issues that don't get enough airtime.

No boys' club here. If you served, this site is for you.

What Vetmoneyhq is — and isn't

We are: an educational project. Free tools, plain-English explainers, and a weekly newsletter about VA disability money topics.

We are not: accredited by VA, a law firm, a financial advisor, or a claims company. We do not file claims, review individual claims, coach anyone through the claims process, or promise any outcome.

If you need help with your specific claim, talk to an accredited Veterans Service Organization (VSO) — like the DAV, American Legion, or VFW — or an accredited claims agent. Their help is free, and it's the right kind of help.
